The Role
VIVA Creative is seeking an experienced Associate Event Producer. This is a full-time position in our Rockville, MD office that requires travel. You’ll ensure events are successfully planned and executed. We seek an accomplished client facing professional.

The Associate Producer liaises heavily with creative teams, clients, vendors and venues, so candidate MUST be a great with people, collaborating and motivating for the best overall client result. A candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit and a “whatever-it-takes” attitude will thrive in our creative work environment.
Responsibilities
• Live event activities may include assisting with proposals, client and vendor meetings, as well as coordination of pre-production, production, post-production, and on-site event support
• Provide support and assistance to the division responsible for developing communications and marketing messaging content for our diverse range of clients
• Work first hand with project leads on large-scale communications, marketing, advertising and live event projects from concept through execution
Preferred Qualifications
• An enthusiastic individual with a background in events, communications, marketing, advertising, and creative production
• Reliability, passion for what we do and a determination to learn and succeed
• Proficient in Mac, Microsoft Office, and strong organizational skills
• Must be a multi-tasker and able to travel while working some nights and weekends when needed
• Must have valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain them quickly)
